ACMAS:
Arbitrators, Mediators, and Committee Members Needed

A letter from Anahid Agemian,
Chair of LACBA's Attorney-Client Mediation and Arbitration Services Committee:

As the Chair of the Attorney-Client Mediation and Arbitration Services Committee, I would like to let you know about our program in the hopes that you might be interested in participating as an  arbitrator.  The committee oversees the attorney-client fee dispute mediations and arbitrations mandated by the California Mandatory Arbitration Act (B&P 6200 et seq.)

We are not only always looking for new arbitrators and members for the committee, but are always in need of Family and Criminal law attorneys.  To that end, I invite you all to apply to become a neutral for our program. Fill out the application here.

If interested, you will need to complete a training course.  The link for that course is below.  The training is free to you and provides 2 hours of MCLE credit, .5 of that in Ethics.

If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you,

Anahid Agemian
