Program Description:
This Introduction to Construction Law program aims to equip participants with the general knowledge necessary to navigate the complexities of construction law effectively. The program will cover a broad spectrum of topics, including: key distinctions between federal, public, private, and home improvement projects, and the governing law pertaining to each; an overview of typical construction disputes, including bid protests, breach of contract/termination, non-payment, mechanics liens, stop payment notices, insurance coverage/tendering for construction defects, and licensing issues.
