Program Description:
Microplastics are on their way to being regulated in drinking water and likely stormwater/NPDES/WDR-permitted discharges. This panel will discuss the current scientific knowledge, timeline to potential regulation, drinking water developments and early litigation. Attendees will learn the basics of this next emerging contaminant and how to begin to prepare themselves/advise clients on early steps to navigate the uncertain regulatory future.
