Program Description:
As more U.S. states legalize or decriminalize cannabis, there are more business opportunities becoming available for entertainers to build their brands in the cannabis industry, but navigating these laws can be a bit confusing and often challenging. This CLE program will explore how attorneys can support their entertainment clients who seek trademark and legal protections for cannabis-related business endeavors. This CLE will also highlight social equity efforts to diversify and increase access to the cannabis business, and how upcoming artists can navigate establishing their cannabis brand.
